Pink and Blue Fun, Historically Speaking

One of the grand things about many of the old historic homes are all the lovely surprises you’ll find as you walk through. Cute blue bird wallpaper in the master bedroom of a vintage Victorian Farmhouse

Take a bedroom in an old home I highly admire. I love the unique old wallpaper in this old Victorian Farmhouse. Pinks, blues, and greens are intertwined in a whimsical way to brighten up one of the lovely big bedrooms upstairs.

Gorgeous tile in the master bedroom of a lovely old historic home

This colorful stone continues the pink and green colors and makes a lovely fireplace decor.

Gorgeous paint design over the lamp in the master bedroom of one of the historic old homes I love

Even the chandelier in the room has a lovely design around hardware that also has the pink and green shades.

Truly a delight for the senses – especially the eyes – historically speaking, that is.

P.S. There’s even more pink and blue delights for the eyes at Feathered Nest Friday – French Country Cottage, Home Sweet Home – The Charm of Home, Anything Blue Friday –Dedicated House, and Pink Saturday – How Sweet the Sound.
